The Village of Algonquin contracts with Kane and McHenry Counties for domesticated animal control services. Depending on your household location, please contact one of the following agencies:

To report a lost pet, please contact the Police non-emergency number at 847-658-4531. Any lost pets that are found by the Algonquin Police Department are transported to the County Animal Control facility in which the pet is found.
Lost pets that are microchipped have a higher rate of return. Please contact the animal control services listed above or your vet to have your pet microchipped.
