On the east side of Algonquin. From the intersection of Main Street and Algonquin Road, take Algonquin Road east, turn left onto Highland Avenue, and the park will be on your left.
About This Location
Presidential Park is an 18-acre park is a major park, and for good reason. It has three baseball diamonds and two massive fields where you could fit at least four different games of soccer or football. It also has a playground, and a walking path that spans 7/10ths of a mile. Want to get some stretching or plyometrics done, too? There are five different exercise stations set up around the walking path to help you do just that. There's also a restroom in case you need a break. This park has everything you need for a full athletic experience.
Restroom facilities at this location are open from approximately May 1 to October 15 (weather dependent) of each year.
The Village of Algonquin received two Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grants in 1990 and 1993 from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to help develop this park facility.
