Located on Square Barn Road near School District 158's campus. From the intersection of Bunker Hill Drive and Randall Road, take Bunker Hill west and turn left at Square Barn Road. The park will be on the right.
About This Location
Kelliher Park is a 28.14 acre park located at 800 Square Barn Road. 6.04 acres are reserved for storm water management and wetlands. Dedicated in 2002, it is a community park intended to serve residents of western Algonquin. It features two lighted baseball diamonds, a playground, a basketball court, a tennis court, a multi-purpose field, benches, public washrooms, and a bike path system.
Restroom facilities at this location are open from approximately May 1 to October 15 (weather dependent) of each year.
The Village of Algonquin received a Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant in 2001 from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to help develop this park facility.
