• Work must be started and completed within six (6) months of the issue date.
• Driveway New or Extension, Apron (Driveway Approach), Driveway Ribbons require permit.
• Driveway Ribbons are considered part of driveway.
• A P.C.C. concrete driveway approach shall be required between the curb (or edge of pavement where there is no curb) and property line or sidewalks for each lot before a Certificate of Occupancy is issued. n
• Concrete driveways are required to have 4 inches of compacted base (stone) and 4 inches of concrete.
• 6-inch by 6- inch #10 welded wire fabric shall be placed in the top ⅓ of concrete driveways.
• Asphalt driveways are required to have 6 inches of compacted base (stone) and 2 inches of asphalt.
• Apron Widths - Residential: The width of the apron shall be no more than what is listed below:
  • 1-car garage: 10 feet wide measured at sidewalk or property line and 15 feet wide measured at curb or edge of street pavement.
  • 2-car garage: 20 feet wide measured at sidewalk or property line and 28 feet wide measured at curb or edge of street pavement.
  • 3-car garage: 30 feet wide measured at sidewalk or property line and 35 feet wide measured at curb or edge of street pavement.
• Aprons shall be 6 inches of concrete and be reinforced with 6-inch by 6-inch #10 welded wire fabric and (2)-#4 reinforcing bars 24 inches long across the corners.
• After Permit is issued, as construction progresses, inspections are required.
