All members are required to receive 16 hours of continuing education annually. No previous experience is required. A business or other financial background would be helpful.  There is no compensation for being on the board. The fund pays for all required training expenses, including any travel expenses.  The Board meets the last Wednesday of January, April, July, and October at 5:00 p.m. at Ganek Municipal Center, 2200 Harnish Drive, Algonquin.

Residents are encouraged to submit an application to serve on one of the Village’s many Boards and Commissions. Applications can be submitted to the Village Clerk’s Office below.  Appointments are made by the entire Village Board annually or when vacancies occur.
