Willoughby Farms Rehabilitation Project Completed
Key Improvements:
The Willoughby Farms Subdivision – Section 1 Rehabilitation Project brought many improvements to the neighborhood. Crews fixed 4.6 miles of residential streets and added 1 mile of bike lanes. They used 17,000 tons of asphalt to repave streets, replaced 15,000 feet of sidewalk, and installed 14,000 feet of curb and gutter. The project also added 1,200 feet of new multi-use paths and used 1,500 tons of cement to strengthen the roadways.
About the Project:
The project included removing old asphalt, strengthening the base, and paving new roads. Crews added bike paths near the park, replaced curbs, sidewalks, and driveways, and made crosswalks easier to use for everyone. Improvements to drainage and landscaping helped ensure the neighborhood is ready for the future.
