The Village of Algonquin, IL

The Village of Algonquin will begin the Water Treatment Plant Aerator and Roof Replacement Project in Summer 2024, with an expected completion by Spring 2025, weather permitting. This project will replace the aerators and roofs at Water Treatment Plants #1 & #2, improving water quality and overall performance of the treatment plant.

Project Overview:

• Aerator upgrades for increased water treatment capacity
• Roof replacements to eliminate leaks and reduce maintenance

Please exercise caution in the work zone. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout the construction period.

Project Areas:

• Water Treatment Plant #1, located on Souwanas Trail, north of Riverwood Lane
• Water Treatment Plant #2, located on Wynnfield Drive, east of White Chapel Lane
