Harrison Street is now open to traffic as the contractor has installed brick pavers at the intersection of Harrison Street and Washington Street. Landscape restoration is also underway, with topsoil, seed, and blanket being placed to restore the surrounding area.

Work continues west on Washington Street, where the contractor has started laying hot mix asphalt (HMA), a commonly used flexible pavement surface. In addition, the installation of roadway brick pavers has begun and will continue in the upcoming weeks. Preparations for the curb and gutter on Washington Street are underway, with formwork now underway.  This section of roadway is scheduled to open later this fall.
