The Village of Algonquin was recently featured by Powering Chicago, highlighting our state-of-the-art Wastewater Treatment Facility! Every day, this facility processes 3-4 million gallons of wastewater, separating pollutants, removing biological nutrients, and ensuring the water is thoroughly purified and disinfected before being safely released into the Fox River.

We recently upgraded our electrical systems at the facility, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. These proactive measures help us meet the highest safety standards, protect public health, and preserve the Fox River ecosystem.
