The Village of Algonquin, IL

The Village of Algonquin will begin the Eastgate Drive Improvement Project in Winter 2024, with an expected completion by Summer 2025, weather permitting. This project will enhance Eastgate Drive with improvements to the roadway surface, parking, pedestrian access, and water infrastructure in coordination with the library district’s Eastgate location renovation project.

Project Overview:

• Full-depth reclamation and new asphalt roadway surface
• Expansion of on-street parking and pedestrian walkway enhancements
• Water main replacement and upgrade for improved utility service

Please exercise caution in the work zone. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout the construction period.

Project Area:

• Eastgate Drive, from Illinois Route 62 to Algonquin Middle School
