The Village of Algonquin, IL

The Village of Algonquin will begin the Algonquin Shores Lift Station Force Main Replacement Project in Spring 2024, with an expected completion by Summer 2025, weather permitting. This project is the first phase of a two-phase upgrade to enhance system reliability and address aging infrastructure.

Project Overview:

• Upgrading remaining 6-inch force main to 10-inch for improved flow

• Addressing aging infrastructure revealed during the Souwanas project

• Enhancing overall system efficiency and reducing service disruptions

Please exercise caution in the work zone. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout the construction period.

Work Area:

• Algonquin Shores Lift Station, including the force main south from Souwanas Trail to Riverwood Drive
