Building Permit Information
The Community Development Department provides plan review, issuance of building permits, performance of field inspections, and issuance of certificates of occupancy to ensure conformance of construction in the Village with governing building codes. A building permit is required before you erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, or demolish any building or structure in the Village. Residents moving into a newly constructed home need to obtain a certificate of occupancy permit from the Community Development Department prior to moving into their home. Permit review may take up to five weeks; please plan ahead.
We have adopted New Building Codes and Fees.
Please fill out appropriate permit forms for your projects. |
