The Algonquin Cemetery is a 9-acre municipal cemetery with over 6,000 platted burial spaces and a mausoleum containing 96 crypts. Burial information is available online at the Algonquin Cemetery Map, and all other questions should be directed to the Ganek Municipal Center at 847-658-2700.

Fall Cleanup occurs on the last Monday of October each year, and all fall decorations should be removed beforehand. Winter decorations may be placed starting the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Spring Cleanup takes place on the first Monday of April. All winter decorations should be removed prior, as any remaining items, such as blankets and wreaths, will be discarded. Mother’s Day and summer decorations can be placed on graves beginning the last Saturday in April.
