Algonquin Business Awards Program Celebrates Local Business Excellence
The Village of Algonquin is pleased to announce the winners of the Algonquin Business Awards Program, a prestigious initiative designed to celebrate and recognize outstanding achievements, innovation, and contributions within the local business community. Primary Election Information
The Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, March 19. To access additional voter information, including early voting, referenda, and polling locations, please visit the Kane or McHenry County Clerk website, based on your county of residence.

Daylight Saving Time Begins March 10
Don't forget that Daylight Saving Time begins on March 10, which means you'll need to set your clocks forward one hour before going to bed on March 9. Along with adjusting your clocks, it's also important to change the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

Village Offices Closed on March 29
The Ganek Municipal Center and Public Works Facility will be closed on March 29 in observance of the holiday. Groot collection services will not be impacted by the holiday.

Join Us for the Algonquin Egg Hunt March 23
Our annual Egg Hunt is scheduled for March 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Algonquin Lakes Park, a NEW location for this year only due to construction at Towne Park. Come early to catch the Bunny's arrival at 9:30 a.m. and ensure ample time for parking.

Fix-a-Leak Week: March 18-24
Fix a Leak Week is an annual event that takes place in March to promote water conservation by detecting and fixing household leaks. You can use these tips to help identify any unknown leaks in your home, which not only conserves water but also helps reduce your water bill. Learn more at the link below

Bunny Basket Deliveries are Back!
Enjoy a visit from the bunny, along with a special basket delivery, right to your home! This is the perfect way for your little ones to meet the Bunny without having to wait in any lines. Each child must be registered for this event. Please note, this program is open to Algonquin residents only.

Now Hiring: Full-time and Seasonal Positions
The Village is currently hiring full-time and seasonal positions for the Public Works Department and seasonal positions at the Lions Armstrong Memorial Pool. Please visit our website to learn more and apply today!

Spring Hydrant Flushing Schedule
The Village of Algonquin Utilities Division will begin flushing hydrants throughout the village starting April 1. Hydrants are flushed twice a year to ensure their proper operation and to improve water quality by circulating water through the system. See below when hydrants are being flushed near you.

Summer Program Guide Hits Mailboxes this Month!
Keep an eye out for our Summer Program Guide, which will be mailed out in mid-March. It will be packed full of information on swim lessons, pool access, sports camps, dance camps, yoga, pickleball, and more! Registration begins April 1.

Cemetery Spring Cleanup
Spring Cleanup at the Algonquin Cemetery occurs the first Monday in April each year. Please have all winter decoration removed prior to the first Monday in April. Spring and summer decorations may be placed the last Saturday in April.
