Join Us for Miracle on Main December 2 Join us on Saturday, December 2, with friends and family as we kick off the holiday season in Old Town Algonquin! Most activities will begin between 4-4:30 p.m. and wind down into the evening. However, for those who wish to arrive earlier, Fern Hill's Merry Market will be open to visitors beginning at 3:00 p.m.
Village Offices Closed December 25 & 26 The Ganek Municipal Center and the Public Works Facility will be closed on Monday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 26, in observance of the holiday. Groot refuse, recycling, and yard waste collection will be delayed by one day for the entire week.
McHenry County Receives $20 Million Federal Grant for Randall Road Project McHenry County has secured an additional $20 million in federal funding for the second phase of the Randall Road improvement project which will assist improvements on Randall Road from Ackman Road, in Crystal Lake, to Polaris Drive/Acorn Lane, in Lake in the Hills.

Holiday Lights Recycling through January 17 The Village is partnering with Elgin Recycling to offer holiday light recycling through January 17 at Ganek Municipal Center, 2200 Harnish Drive.
