The Village of Algonquin, IL

The Longmeadow/Randall Project Area is located at the southwest corner of Randall Road and Longmeadow Parkway and until recently, situated at the southwestern edge of the Village in unincorporated Kane County.  The Village of Algonquin conducted an analysis in 2021 of the qualification of an area that resulted in the establishment of the Longmeadow and Randall Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District. The Algonquin Village Board formally adopted the TIF District on December 7, 2021 and it goals are to redevelop the Project Area with adequate storm water capacity on a comprehensive and planned basis to ensure that private investment occurs.
