The Village of Algonquin, IL

On the east side of Algonquin at the end of Longwood Drive, next to the Eastview Elementary and Algonquin Middle Schools. Simply take Longwood Drive south off of Algonquin Road.

This recreation facility in Algonquin offers a variety of amenities for all ages. The pool features a diving board and plenty of chairs to accommodate sunbathers and swimmers. For those looking for water fun without diving into the pool, there’s a Splash Pad—perfect for small children. The grounds, located conveniently near Snapper’s Field, include a playground, basketball court, baseball diamond, tennis court, and picnic area. There’s even enough open space for a game of soccer or football, making it a well-rounded destination for both relaxation and recreation.

The Village of Algonquin received an Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant in 1997 from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to help develop this recreation facility.
