Event Description:

Put on your Halloween costume and join us for our annual Old Town Trick-or-Treat Trail on South Main Street in Algonquin from 4-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19. The Trail will run from Madison Street to IL Route 62 with the street packed full of Halloween fun featuring Trick-or-Treat stops at our downtown businesses on Main Street along fun family activities with some of our amazing local sponsors. We will also have the return of Pumpkin Painting sponsored by Makity Make, Kopetsky Properties, and Fishman Miller PC.

After trick-or-treating, grab a drink and/or a quick bite to eat at one of our many amazing local restaurants!

Parking & Detour Information

Public parking is available at Towne Park (100 Jefferson Street) and St John's Lutheran Church (300 Jefferson Street). Neighborhood streets southeast of the park allow parking on one side only, highlighted in yellow. Areas marked in red on Main Street between Washington Street and Railroad Street, as well as parts of Washington and Harrison Streets, are designated as no parking zones.

South Main Street will be closed to traffic beginning at 12:00 p.m. through the duration of the event. Motorists are encouraged to use the IL Route 31 Bypass as a detour during that time.
