Fox River Corridor Plan Steering Committee
The Fox River Corridor Plan will study the waterway in a regional context by exploring opportunities for improved access and increased use as an outdoor recreation area. The study is a collaborative effort between the villages of Algonquin and Carpentersville, as well as the McHenry County Conservation District and Forest Preserve District of Kane County. It is ultimately envisioned that through a coordinated undertaking, a vibrant recreational corridor can be established from Algonquin to Carpentersville, increasing opportunities for exercise and a connection to nature for area residents.
