The Village of Algonquin, IL

The Village of Algonquin Office of Adjudication began operations in 2008. It serves as a quasi-judicial tribunal for the adjudication of municipal ordinance violations that were previously heard in the Kane and McHenry County Circuit Courts. This process expedites prosecutions, reduces expenses, and allows the Circuit Court to focus on the most serious offenses.
